Experiential Learning With Puppets outlines the powerful impact that puppets can make in teaching children. The
DVD reviews the entertaining and relatively simple capability of puppets to provide an opportunity for children to
role play and interact with their adult leaders. Furthermore, the DVD explains that in the imaginary world created
with puppets, children become extra attentive and tend to participate in meaningful discussions more than with
traditional lecture format. The DVD details the fact that experiential learning allows hands-on exploration that will
leave children with a lasting memory of the lessons taught through puppets. The DVD also explores many designs
of homemade puppets and puppet theaters.
Among the topics covered:
- Puppet show theaters
- Marionettes
- Hand puppets
- People puppets
