- The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is an international non-profit educational association that is regarded as the worldwide authority on strength and conditioning. Founded in 1978, its basic mission is to support and disseminate research-based knowledge and its practical application to improve athletic performance and fitness. The Association has evolved from a membership of 76 to a point where it currently serves nearly 30,000 members in 52 countries.
