PEAK—Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids: Fun and Engaging Ways to Teach Outdoor
Ethics provides an overview of the PEAK program, an undertaking that features eight
activities/games that are designed to teach youth about Leave No Trace. The DVD explains how
camp directors can implement PEAK into their program offerings and demonstrates teaching tools
that can enhance the ease and effectiveness of PEAK.

Biography
- Emily Ressler and J.D. Tanner are traveling trainers for the Subaru/Leave No Trace program. Widely respected for their background in experimental education, together they have climbed 14,000 ft. mountains, canoed and kayaked rivers and lakes, rock-climbed all over the United States, and backpacked hundreds of miles on the Appalachian Trail.
