Biography
- Steven "Trip" Peck has been involved in the camping industry since 1976, when he went to a sleep-away camp with the Northwest YMCA at the age of 12. He spent the next 15 years with the YMCA evolving from a camper to a counselor to a camp director. Trip, as he is commonly known in the camp environment, has been involved in creating counselor training programs and facilitating counselor and camper development. He has directed River Way Ranch camp and Wonder Valley Family camp. He is currently working extensively in the burn camp community, participating in burn camps in California, Washington, Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Utah, and Toronto. Peck has spoken on games and training at conferences hosted by the American Camp Association, the American Burn Association, and the International Association of Burn Camps.
